WAAO Mission Statement and Commitments

The Mission    

The mission of the WAAO is to promote the public good by ensuring equitable assessments through assessor education, professional development, and public awareness.          

 The Commitments     

The WAAO has made six commitments in its strategic plan: 

1.      Promoting assessment education.

2.      Promoting professionalism in assessing.

3.      Actively engaging in property assessment legislation.         

4.      Promoting an understanding of assessment and taxation.         

5.      Sustaining an active, broad-based membership.        

6.      Promote networking and information sharing.
