One list contains sales of properties that might have been involved in property flipping transactions in the City of Milwaukee. Inclusion on this list does not necessarily mean that the participants in any listed transaction were involved in any criminal activity relating to that transaction. While the specific properties may be of no interest to assessors outside the City of Milwaukee, the names of the parties to these sales may be.
Properties with multiple sales occurring in a short period of time and exhibiting an increase in sale price of at least $5,000 or 10%, whichever is greater, are included in the list. A name listed as "grantor2" differing from the name listed as "grantee1" indicates an intermediary transaction(s) has taken place between the two sales.
The file is a self-extracting file containing one Excel spreadsheet. The first part of the spreadsheet is a list of names only of possible "flippers". The second part of the spreadsheet is a list of individual sales transactions. Click on the link below to download the file to a directory on your computer. After downloading, double click on the file to extract the Excel file. Once downloaded and extracted, the file can be sorted any way you wish.
