TYPES OF MEMBERSHIP

 REGULAR MEMBERSHIP

Open to officers, officials, or employees of governmental bodies directly involved in property tax assessment and administration, and for individuals or employees of an organization providing professional services to governmental officers, officials, or offices of a governmental authority or jurisdiction in support of tax assessment and property tax administration.  

$25.00

 ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

For officers, officials, and employees of governmental bodies not covered by regular membership, and to officials, administrators, and employees of educational institutions.  

$70.00

 SUBSCRIBING MEMBERSHIP

Open to individuals subscribing to the purpose of WAAO (not eligible for regular or associate membership) interested in the science of property assessment and taxation.  

$20.00

 RETIRED REGULAR MEMBERSHIP

Open to individuals retired from, or otherwise terminated from the position under which they previously held a regular membership, not employed in any manner which would qualify them as subscribing members.  

$25.00

 STUDENT MEMBERSHIP

Available to individuals enrolled on a full time basis in a program of study on assessment administration, real estate, appraising, or related subjects at a qualifying institution.  Available for a maximum of four years.
