NCRAAO Conference 2008

On behalf of the Wisconsin Association of Assessing Officers, we want to welcome all of you to the 33^rd annual North Central Regional Association of Assessing Officers Conference. The conference will be hosted at the Regency Suites of Green Bay (soon to be Hotel Sierra). Contact the Regency Suites at 1-800-236-3330 to make your reservation. Your reservation includes free cocktails in the evening and a free (full) breakfast in the morning. The convention center is connected to the hotel.

The annual NCRAAO Golf Classic will be held Sunday June 15^th at the Woods Golf Club in Green Bay. Golf details and instructions to the course will be available at a reception hosted by the NCRAAO Hospitality Committee on Saturday evening June 14^th.

We’ll hit the field on Sunday evening June 15^th with the Presidents Reception and Silent Auction. As you know the Silent Auction helps to defray conference expenses and is always a very enjoyable time. Please bring a donation along so we can make this event more fun. You won’t want to miss one minute of this hard-hitting conference. We are planning fifteen educational sessions on some very interesting subjects like appraising large dairy farms, preparing for large court cases and what a tax court judge looks at just to give you a sample. Also, we will visit one of the most legendary football stadiums in the world when we visit Lambeau Field and the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame. You can drive to the stadium, or if you like, you can ride a very unique bus to Lambeau.
The last play of the game will be Tuesday evening with the banquet and entertainment.

The conference was purposely moved later into June to allow attendees to bring their families along and make this trip to Green Bay and Wisconsin a great way to kick off your summer. The spouse and partner program will feature a visits to Heritage Hill State Historical Park and the Door County Maritime Museum

We are very excited to be hosting this event for the first time in Green Bay, Wisconsin and we want to make sure you kick off your summer by having a great time in Green Bay.
