What a Tax Court Judge Looks at

Victoria Enyart has 30 years of experience in property and non-property appraisal and assessing.  This includes five years as a Michigan Tax Tribunal Judge.  The remaining 25 years she served as city assessor and county equalization director.  Victoria was sole proprietor of VLE Appraisal Company for ten years.

She is past president of the Michigan Assessor’s Association, and holds her CMAE IV designation with the State Assessor’s Board.  Ms. Enyart is a Certified General Appraiser in the State of Michigan.  She has served on the Michigan Assessor’s Association board and was legislative chair prior to and after the implementation of Michigan’s tax limiting legislation “Proposal A”. 

Victoria is an instructor for both State and National appraisal and assessing organizations since 1985.  She did the in-service training for Michigan Tax Tribunal judges, hearing officers and other personnel.  She remains active in the Michigan Assessor’s Association and the International Association of Assessing Officers.  Her property tax background and unique perspective from the experience as a tax court judge helps her to look at issues from an unbiased position.
