WISCONSIN ASSOCIATION OF ASSESSING OFFICERS

SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS

The W.A.A.O. Awards Committee administers WAAO scholarships and grants when applications are received. The committee recommends to the Executive Board the most qualified candidate(s). The WAAO Executive Board must approve all grants and scholarships. Funds for theses awards are made available through the WAAO Education Fund. Membership and service to W.A.A.O. shall be reviewed for each applicant. The Awards Committee encourages all WAAO members to apply for any of the following:

One grant per year for a WAAO member to attend a WAAO sponsored or co-sponsored IAAO course
Two grants for up to 50% of the course cost of a WAAO sponsored course or co-sponsored IAAO course for the hosting staff. Note: If the host grants are not requested, the equivalent of up to two regular grants may be awarded.
One or more NCRAAO conference registration fee grant(s) as recommended, by the Awards Committee, and approved by the Executive Board
$100 check to each WAAO member who successfully completes an IAAO designation & provides copy of certificate
