The UW Law School will again
be presenting this one-day seminar.
We have not completed all of the planning for the seminar yet, but, below is a summary of
the information now available.
We held this seminar last May and had a good turnout. We hope to make it an annual
offering for attorneys, assessors and appraisers. I hope that you will attend.

Description of seminar: In
this second annual seminar on property taxation sponsored by the UW Law School, a faculty
of experts in all aspects of the property tax field will cover the following important
topics: current issues involving property tax exemptions in Wisconsin, including statutory
changes and recent court decisions; current procedural issues affecting Wisconsin
assessments, including recent critical changes to the Wisconsin assessment statutes;
valuation of complex properties; current issues involving the valuation of property
at fair market value; and other selected topics.
